Reading 1

The reading was interesting as far as the breaking down of technology in a sense. Everything we use has a purpose, and these purposes are why these objects and technology are created. The elements of design are quite numerous. Proportion structure size and weight are all contributing factors to elements of design. It is sometimes referred to as packaging. How something looks, the cost of the item, durability and strength are all characteristics designers need to keep in mind and consider while designing anything. One of the most important things to create is user friendliness. If the item or object is hard to use, why would someone want to buy it unless is something like a puzzle. The product should be enjoyable and approachable. The color should display its purpose, therefore something light and fluffy shouldn't have a grotesque texture or color. People interact with things daily, and design is without a doubt behind these interactions, and drives to interact with things.
